Maurice Clarett: The Homeless Man's O.J.

You have to love this. Maurice Clarrett was a sure-fire 1st round draft pick in the National Football League..if he only stayed in school. You see, he decided to fight the NFL's policy that says you had to either stay in college for 3 years or apply for draft eligibility 3 years after you graduate highschool (or something like that...who really cares?- I could look it up but bottom line is that the NFL really drives home the 'stay in school' thing). He lost that battle in court...but let's take a step back and quickly review the public life of this guy over the past few years:

- Clarrett played for Ohio State in his only year in College. He scored the winning touchdown in double overtime in the Fiesta Bowl to give Ohio State the National Champioship in 2002.

The rest is all negative, lets lump it together like the shit-pile it is...
- Sues NFL unsuccessfully to enter draft, finally gets drafted when eligible in 2005 and then gets cut, robs a couple of people at gun point and steals their cell phones...and then yesterday...gets pulled over for a traffic violation-turned-high-speed-chase, and is found to have several 9mm pistols, a half empty quart of vodka and a hatchet in his vehicle. Holy shit! oh, and did I fail to mention that police had to mace him because they tried to use a stun gun/taser-type thing, and it failed due to the bullet proof vest he was wearing? I'm sure he was just out picking some late-nite up from Wendy's...but I guess we will never know....just as we will never know if he could of made a go of it in the NFL.

The Titans sure could use him or have you moved on to the Ravens now that Air McNair is now in Baltimore

No, I'm still a die-hard Titans fan. I'll take Vince Young over McNair anyday....Kerry Collins on the other hand....
